Happy Holidays!

Journal Entry: Thu Dec 3, 2015, 12:57 PM
It was a very busy November!

We won Best in Show at Youmacon 2015 with our Cardcaptor Sakura performance and costumes. The audience really loved it and I'll post a link when videos go up.

The week after that I got married! It was a ton of work putting together but it was a beautiful wedding. A few days after that I went on my honeymoon to Japan for two weeks. We had an amazing time and it was an incredible experience. We stayed in Tokyo for a week and then spent the second week touring. We arrived home the day before Thanksgiving and it's taken me a few days to adjust to the 14 hour time difference.

I am currently preparing to move to my husband's house on the other side of the state, but in the meantime I will be judging at TAG Fest 2.0 in Toledo on Saturday. If you're there feel free to say hello.

After that I will not be attending another convention until AnimeNext in Atlantic City, NJ where I will be competing for WCS again. I am not announcing what I'm doing or who I am working with, but I will be posting progress of that costume and a couple others to my FB page…

I hope you all have a Happy Holiday.

Do you take commissions? I'm looking into purchasing Qrow Branwen's sword. Send me a message at with a quote if you do. I would send some pictures with the message, but I can't figure out how. If you'd like to see some pictures, send a message to my e-mail.

For referencing, I suggest watching… as of 5:10. This is where the character is really shown off with his weapon.

Hi there,

I actually don't make props.

I hope you find someone. Qrow is an awesome character.

Hey Emily I have a random cosplay question. What kind of paints do you recommend for painting fabric? and do you water them down?
lunaladyoflight Featured By Owner Mar 9, 2015  Hobbyist Artisan Crafter
I use Jacquard Textile Inks and I do not water them down except when I'm putting them through my airbrush. You can purchase them at Blick art stores (only a very limited color selection) or purchase the full compliment of shades, metallics, opaques, and pearls online on the DickBlick website, or
